Each swimmer will complete 8 lengths or 4 laps of the 25 yard pool.

The 8 mile bike will be a loop course on excellent south College Station roads. Key intersections will have law enforcement officers doing traffic control. Cyclists should obey ALL traffic laws unless instructed specifically by a law enforcement officer.

The 2 mile run course will be on running paths through Southwood Park and will finish on the College Station Middle School Track.

The race will feature state of the art chip timing along with real time results at the finish line.

THE WILDEST ADVENTURE RACE IN TEXAS!! Human Race Waco is a different race than you have ever run! And we like it that way. Our goal is to create a race that reaches out to the community, ... morewith courses that are a perfect fit for anyone who would like to participate. Always held the last weekend in April, Human Race Waco has everything from parents with young children walking the 5K Fun Run/Walk Course, to die-hard tri-athletes hoping to earn their next medal. All are welcome as long as you come planning to have an excellent time!

5K Fun Run/Walk Course:
Whether you are racing for the win or want to enjoy a leisurely stroll through Cameron Park, the 5K Fun Run Course is for you! You can compete in this course as a solo runner or on a team. This is a GREAT course for beginner racers who may not want a full distance trek, but still want to join in the fun of HUMAN RACE WACO!

Road Race (3K kayak, 10K bike on paved road, 5K run):
If you are looking for a racing experience that is challenging and diverse, but doesn’t require much experience, the Road Course is right for you. You can compete in this course as a solo racer or as a team. This challenge includes a 3K paddle, 10K Road Course, and 5K finish. Get all the fun and experience of a triathlon without having to get wet!

Trail Race Course (10K mountain bike, 10K run, 3K paddle, 1K finish line scramble):
You can compete in the Trail Race Course as a solo racer or as a team. This course includes a 10K road to mountain bike, 10K road to trail run, 3K paddle and a 1K scramble to the finish. If you are wanting something a little more off the beaten path, but don’t want to KILL yourself, (only maybe a few bruises for braggin’ rights), you will LOVE this Course!
