WELCOME TO SPEEDYDEMONS TRAINING GROUP

The American Medical Association has officially recognized obesity as a disease.  Bernard Manirakiza’s goal is to fight obesity in America by motivating children and adults to stay physically active in their daily lives. People who are physically active gain enormous health benefits, concentrate better and are more productive.

To lose weight, you must burn calories. To burn calories, you must exercise regularly! Running is great exercise so let’s hit the road to improve our health and well-being.
 
Programs
Many people are turned off by running because they start too fast. You should ease into your running program gradually. In our beginners program, we will outline your program starting ... morewith walking and jogging and building up gradually to be a quality runner. The idea is to transform you from couch potato to a runner. Our program ideology is to provide you a great social environment and support so you can achieve your fitness goals.

The group will be lead by NCAA Champion and all-American Bernard Manirakiza.

Bernard won eight national titles while competing in both Track and Field and Cross Country. He added his name to the list of outstanding male middle-distance runners in Abilene Christian University history when he was given the Paul Gold Award signifying his achievements as top male athlete during the 2003-04 school years.

Bernard's training methods will focus on drills, skills, and other running techniques to get you on the right track. Our training also focuses on running form, strength and endurance.

Our program offers nutrition advice, a customized running program, a personal training calendar, local events calendar, and much more to meet your running needs. Whatever your goal is, joining the SpeedyDemons will help reach that goal.
