Terms & Conditions
  • Key Race Info in your Packet: Bib Number – Must be worn on the run. Helmet Number – Must be worn on the helmet. Bike Number – Must be placed visibly on the bike. Bikes will not be allowed in/out of transition without this number.
  • Body Marking / Chip Timing: You must be body marked before you enter the transition area. You must wear a chip to receive an official time for the race. Chip must be worn around your ankle. Chips will be handed race morning. Chips must be returned to the timing official as soon as you finish the race. Failure to do so will result in a $30 charge for replacement.
  • Swim Start: Racers will start in numerical order and will enter the water approximately every 10 seconds. The swim will be a snake swim: down and back in one lane, under the lane rope, down and back in the next lane until 12 lengths of the 25 yard pool have been completed (300 yards).
  • Racking Your Bike: Rows will be numbered. Please rack your bike where your assigned location is. Bikes must be re-racked after the cycle portion of the race in the exact same place as where they were before the race. Failure to rack or re-rack your bike in the correct place will result in a USAT penalty.
  • Bike Course: You are responsible for making sure your bike is in safe operating condition. Everyone is required to wear a helmet!

  • Relay Teams: Each team will receive one chip. You must remove the chip from the swimmer and move it to the cyclist where your bike is racked during Transition 1. The cyclist must return to the bike rack after the cycle portion and the chip must be moved to the runner’s ankle in Transition 2. The bicycle must be racked properly at all times. Only the cyclist is allowed to take the bike off and on the rack. The chip must be worn around each relay participant’s ankle.
  • Transition Area: You will not be able to remove your bike from the transition area until the last bike of the race is back in transition. Please be cautious and courteous if you leave as others may still be racing.
